I’m a photographer based in the Kansas City area. I have been working as a professional photographer for over 7 years. I truly enjoy meeting new people and finding creative ways to capture each persons spirit in an image. I have loved meeting so many wonderful families and couples over the years. Each family, each love story is unique. Creating images that portray the individual in the most authentic way while still staying true to my own style is something I really value as an artist.
I love ART, in all forms. What the arts can do for me, my family and the world as a whole is why I am a photographer. In addition to working with clients I work on personal projects a few times a year for my own outlet. I have served on a board for the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art for over 7 years. Kansas City is one of the best artist communities in the U.S., I feel lucky to be a part of it. I graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelors in Art Education (I’m a die hard Jayhawks basketball fan). I am a trained painter, and before pursuing photography I was an elementary art teacher.
I have a wonderfully supportive husband and one kiddo. I am an art history buff, master Pictionary player and bad joke teller. Outside of photography I also own a professional photo retouching company, Chromatic Edge (www.chromaticedge.com).
I would love to talk to you about your photographic needs and how I can help you fulfill them. Call or email me!
